Coude Auxiliary Telescope Observing Time Form for proposal CoverSheet

This on-line form generates the CoverSheet of a proposal for Coude Auxiliary time. This online CoverSheet is required in order to schedule any observing time on telescopes at Lick Observatory, and also in order for the TAC to consider the merits of a scientific justification for an observing proposal. Complete the form on-line, review it in the web browser, make corrections as needed, and submit the completed form. The submission will return a CoverSheetId for that proposal. Create a PDF file containing the scientific justification. Follow the links to the proposal submission web page, and submit the proposal to justify the proposal CoverSheet. N.B. Creating a proposal CoverSheet and submitting the scientific justification are separate steps. A CoverSheet is required for any scheduled telescope time. A scientific proposal is not complete unless both steps are performed.

The active semester is 2025A.
The Executive Assistant to the Director <assistant@ucolick.org> can control the above setting and can also answer other questions about the proposal process.

The active semester 2025A is for the NORMAL process of Coude Auxiliary submission, review, and time assignment for proposals that will be evaluated based on scientific merit.
Under special circumstances pre-approved by the director in charge of Coude Auxiliary, LATE additions for the current semester 2025A may still be possible.
(The RESERVED semester options allow scheduling of Coude Auxiliary for special events farther into the future.)
In order to be added to the schedule all of these require the submission of a CoverSheet.

Edit existing Coude Auxiliary Telescope proposal CoverSheet

The content of an existing proposal CoverSheet can be edited after its initial submission.
Note however:
After the proposal deadline any changes MUST be communicated with and approved by the director in charge of this telescope.

Re-use content of an existing Coude Auxiliary Telescope proposal CoverSheet from a prior semester
in a new proposal CoverSheet

The content of a previous proposal CoverSheet can be re-used as a template to be edited and submitted for the active semester.

OR, for very old CoverSheets, enter the e-mail address of PI on the previous CoverSheet
